Solo Performers

We ask that new acts bring at least one guest
and that you stay for the whole show (8pm to 10.30pm)
By asking performers to do this, we ensure the kind of environment where brand new acts get their best chance to succeed, and more established comics feel free to try new material and experiment.

Please state in your message that you can bring someone and which Thursdays you are available

Double acts, sketch/improv groups etc.
are very welcome at The Freedom Fridge, and can book in without a guest.
(As there are already at least two of you, we just ask that you stay for the whole show)

We can provide multiple microphones, and have a multi-channel sound system for instruments, recorded audio etc. Please mention any special requirements when booking and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

WHY IS ALL THIS NECESSARY...?

THE FREEDOM FRIDGE  is an open-mic night, organised by comedians who are working for free, with a budget of zero pounds.
Each event is a collective effort between us and you, the comedians we book to perform.

 Our aim is to create a friendly atmosphere for brand-new acts, and where more experienced  acts feel comfortable to experiment and try out new material.

By bringing guests or coming to watch nights when you aren't performing, you offer us invaluable help in achieving this.
